Grant Center Overview
Art, culture, and great public spaces are at the heart of Greater Philadelphia’s identity. The robust availability of arts offerings, artists living and working in the region, and inviting places and spaces where residents can gather all combine to create a city where people want to live and work. Vibrant and creative communities also spur development and make the city more competitive in attracting visitors and employers. To advance Philadelphia as a leading center of creativity, the Foundation promotes sustainable arts and cultural organizations, high-quality creative works and cultural programs, arts education for school-age children, and great public spaces.
Follow the links below to view program guidelines for each strategy:
Advance Arts and Cultural Organizations
- Advance the artistic, planning, management, and financial capacities of arts and cultural organizations to help sustain, grow, and diversify audiences.

In each of these grant categories, we are also interested in opportunities to support initiatives that are transformational to an organization’s future or projects that bring innovation to a field or discipline.
Prospective grantees are welcome to submit proposals to more than one strategy.
