The Foundation is interested in funding work that it believes is critical to strengthening the cultural community as a sector or within a particular field or discipline in the following two areas:
Regional advancement, including advocacy, public policy, research and demonstration models, and cooperative efforts.
Organizational capacity, including technical assistance.
Grants in these areas are awarded based on their potential tobenefit a large number of cultural organizations in the region.
