News line Philadelphia Featured in PBS Documentary
Edens Lost & Found: How Ordinary Citizens are Restoring our Great American Cities

Philadelphia Featured in PBS Documentary Philadelphia is featured along with Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle, in the new PBS documentary series, Edens Lost & Found, by Wiland-Bell Productions. 

The series highlights ordinary people who are revitalizing neighborhoods and communities in four major American cities facing economic, environmental, and social challenges.  Many of these citizen-led initiatives are improving the quality of life and producing exciting and innovative solutions to urban problems.

The Philadelphia episode features work by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Village of Arts and Humanities, the New Kensington Community Development Corporation, the Mural Arts Program, the Philadelphia Water Department, and several others.

The Philadelphia episode will premiere on May 25, 2006 at 10 pm on WHYY-12 in the Greater Philadelphia region.  Listings for other parts of the country can be found here.
