News line Low-Cost Technical Assistance Available to Area Nonprofits
Publication Date: June 28, 2006

With support from the William Penn Foundation and the Samuel S. Fels Fund, the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation (PHMC) has launched a new fund that will help nonprofits in Greater Philadelphia gain access to high quality, low cost technical assistance in a variety of disciplines.

Through PHMC's new Matching Technical Assistance Fund, nonprofit organizations providing services for children and youth in the Greater Philadelphia region are able to receive assistance with fiscal management, communications and marketing, technology, evaluation, organizational development, and human resource management. Applicants are expected to share a portion of the cost for services, with the remainder paid through the Matching Fund.

For more information on the program, including an online application, please visit PHMC online or contact Amy Friedlander at amyf@phmc.org.
