Geraldine Wang is director of Environment and Communities at the William Penn Foundation, where she manages grantmaking and other activities intended to protect watersheds and related ecosystems, stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods, and promote smart growth throughout the Philadelphia region.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 1996, Wang spent 14 years at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office of the Trust for Public Land, where she served as a project manager.
Wang holds an M.S. degree in urban planning from the Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning, and Historic Preservation, and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
