Inaugural Watershed Fellowship Summit held at John Heinz Refuge

After a summer of hard work, 23 young adults working to protect the Delaware River watershed in communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware shared their achievements and findings at the inaugural Watershed Fellowship Summit last Friday at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd.

This was the first cohort of Environmental Fellows facilitated by the Alliance for Watershed Education, a new network of environmental education centers jointly working to increase awareness of the importance of clean water in the Delaware River watershed, a 13,500 square mile system that provides drinking water for 15 million people.
